One important note: When putting this item back together make sure that the ipod dock connector is in the right place and that the two small security clips are under the dock connector or it will slide into the unit and you will not be able to charge. Also you need to turn on your car before plugging in the iPod or you won't get any volume as it is trying to use the fm transmitter and not the jack. Turning on your car and then plugging in your iPod will solve this issue.
